The beta is an information, education, and entertainment service. It does not execute trades, provide personalized financial advice, or award points with cash value.
This is an expanded beta draft. It is not binding until the operator identity, contact details, retention schedule, processor inventory, jurisdiction, effective date, and legal review are finalized and published.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter an agreement. You must keep account information accurate, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
The Service may support email, Google, or X/Twitter authentication. We may require email verification, eligibility checks, or additional safeguards before allowing publishing, contests, or other restricted features. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, subject to applicable law.
RetroStock Arcade combines company and market exploration, user-created research and due diligence, points-only prediction contests, and arcade games.
Nothing on the Service is an offer, solicitation, personalized recommendation, or substitute for independent professional advice. Markets involve risk, including loss of principal.
Prices, fundamentals, filings, logos, and company information may come from third-party or public sources. Data may be delayed, stale, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable. Source and freshness labels are part of the information and must not be removed or misrepresented.
Market information is not a promise that a value is current or suitable for a particular transaction. Do not use the Service as the sole basis for a transaction or redistribute licensed market data in violation of a provider's terms. See the market data and attribution notice.
DD, notes, posts, comments, reactions, predictions, profiles, and contest results are user-generated content. They are not reviewed or endorsed merely because they appear on the Service.
When publishing research or commentary, you must:
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, format, display, distribute, moderate, secure, promote, and improve the Service using that content. The license ends when content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, prior lawful distributions, and content preserved for security, disputes, or legal obligations.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law, confidentiality, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or these Terms. Do not upload confidential employer, customer, or material non-public information.
The current public beta contests are free, skill-based, and points-only. Unless separate official rules say otherwise after legal review:
Contest rules, reference bars, settlement data, scoring versions, and pending outcomes are published on the relevant contest surface. We may correct scoring errors, reject invalid or manipulated entries, or cancel a contest when reliable resolution is not possible. See the Public Prediction Contest Rules.
Arcade scores may be checked using server-issued seeds, input logs, deterministic replay, signatures, anomaly detection, or manual review. You may not fabricate inputs or scores, modify the client to gain an unfair advantage, automate play, exploit a defect, interfere with another player, or evade enforcement.
We may invalidate runs and remove leaderboard entries that cannot be verified under the published game rules. Reputation, badges, contest points, and verified game results are non-transferable and have no monetary value.
You may not:
Follow the Community Guidelines and the DD Disclosure Standard when participating in the community.
We may label, limit distribution of, remove, or preserve content; restrict features; invalidate scores; suspend or terminate accounts; and report conduct when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or secure the Service. Moderation is imperfect. Where available, use the in-product report and appeal tools. A future binding version will identify the approved support and appeal channel.
The current beta has no purchase requirement, creator paywall, cash prize, paid entitlement, wager, or payment processing exposed to users. Future payment, advertising, creator subscription, or monetization features require updated Terms, a Privacy review, and clear prospective notice. Payment or a paid tier can never improve contest scoring or market outcomes.
The Service software, original game identities, visual systems, and operator content are owned by the operator or its licensors. Public company names, ticker symbols, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary.
RetroStock Arcade is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed, approved by, or affiliated with a company featured in the Service unless a specific written partnership notice says otherwise. See the Company and Trademark Non-Affiliation notice.
The Service may link to or depend on market-data, public-filing, authentication, storage, analytics, email, or hosting providers. We do not control their services or terms and are not responsible for third-party outages, content, or policies. Their use may be subject to separate terms and privacy notices.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, complete or current data, investment results, or that user-generated content is accurate.
Any final liability cap, exclusions, consumer-law exceptions, and jurisdiction-specific remedies remain pending operator and counsel approval. Nothing in a future binding version will exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may change the Service and these Terms. A future binding version will receive a new effective date and reasonable notice for material changes where required. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain effective, including intellectual-property, confidentiality, dispute, and liability provisions.
Governing law, venue, and any agreed dispute process remain pending confirmation of the operator's legal entity and launch jurisdictions. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights apply where required by law.
This public beta summary is not binding Terms of Service. It must not be treated as a final contract until the operator identity, address, support channel, effective date, governing law, venue, and counsel approval are published.
General product questions can be sent through the contact page. A dedicated privacy and legal contact channel will be published before the policy becomes binding.
